If you are following me on Instagram, you will know that I have recently gone to Littleton, CO to visit my little brother. In the last two years, I haven’t been much of a traveler. But I decided it was the time to go visit the big outdoors of Colorado.
Being a Florida girl, I am used to flat lands, palm trees and looking out for gators in water. But Colorado seems to be this own world that thrilled me. Parks everywhere, mountains and the weather was a nice change from the 80 degrees that I am used to. I even learned how to play Pickleball!
My favorite place that I visited was the Great Sands National Park. So worth the drive to get there! I think what amazed me the most is that it was quiet. No traffic, no planes, not a lot of noise. Really quiet. The views were spectacular, and I will never forget them!
Oh by the way, my boots, are water resistant! It is off topic but I want to recommend these boots. When I accidently stepped into a puddle that was at the bottom of the sand dune, I had no frigid water go through. So if you are looking for stylish boots that are practical, this is the one.
Of course, as a book lover, I went to a few used bookstores in Colorado. The area I am I am in Florida, used bookstores are hard to come by. I have to depend on Thriftbooks or Amazon for any good deals. So, coming across a used bookstore is always a treat for me.
Picture of the book is on the Instagram slide. In case you want to check it out!
