American Royals #3
My Rating:
Oh gosh, this Rivals left you on a major cliffhanger once again. Also, there is no word of the 4th book. AGH!
This is the third book of the American Royals series, and it delivered on the drama like a soap opera, having the make up your dang mind moments and seeing the challenges of having a crown.

The book Rivals focuses on the challenges in the romantic aspect of being royal. Beatrice and Sam both have men in their lives that they would require the men to give up their own titles to be with them. The sacrifices the men make to be with American Royals.
Jeff, whom I am annoyed with at the moment, comes across as a person who can’t make up his own mind. Going back and forth between two women and going only where the “supposed.” love is. His character annoyed me in this book only because of how shallow he is.
Daphne and Nina were fleshed out in this book that made me enjoy these two characters more. They form an unlikely alliance for a common goal that requires Nina to get to know Daphne. That Daphne is a different person than what she portrays to be. Unfortunately, due to someone not being able to make up his mind, this friendship was rocky.
I really enjoyed this series but this book got a little more political than I would prefer. I went to this book to escape and didn’t really care for it.
The ending of Rivals of the American Royal Series, as usual ended on a cliffhanger. This is a type of series that I wish was already completed, only because the endings are explosive and leave you wanting to throw the book across the room.
