(Shadow and Bone #3)
By: Leigh Bardugo
My Rating:
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Glad for this series to finally come to a close. Only took me a few years to finish this series. It is not like it is bad, but that fact I just never got around to it.
I only made a point of finishing this only because of the next season of the Shadow and Bone on Netflix is being released in 2023. Since they are merging some of the events from Six of Crows in it, I also want to tackle that duology as well.

The third book left off where Alina is technically being held prisoner in the white cathedral. All in the name of protection. Being as a symbol as a Saint, couldn’t use her powers and being isolated from her friends.
With the Darkling looming, Alina is feeling the pressure to find the third and final Amplifier. Being held captive, her friends had to get creative to get themselves free.
There is not much more I can give about this book; it is one of those books you just need to read for yourself to get the conclusion of the story.
The pacing got a little slow in the middle and the conclusion wasn’t very epic in my opinion. I did feel that the ending was a tad bit rushed. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I expected.
But I will admit, things happened in this book, and I wanted to throw the book. In a good way. This was in essence, entertaining. I wasn’t expecting a lot and it has some shock value to this one.
I love this book also sets this book up for another series called King of Scars, so I am looking forward to reading that series as well.
Like I said, glad this series finally came to a close and looking forward to reading more from the Grisha Universe.
