What if men got their advice about their love lives from romance books? I know you are out there! In The Bromance Book Club series Lyssa Kay Adams did just that. Currently there are four books in the series and each one covers a man that is a member of the Bromance Club in Tennessee. This is a contemporary romance books where the men have woman troubles, and they get their help from the romance books that they read together in their club. They are all about their grand gestures as well. If you read or have read the books, you know what I mean.
Now I really love The Bromance Book Club Series just because it is a different take. Where men are real men, but they open up to the softer side of romance novels. Lyssa Kay Adams wrote a contemporary romance to show that hey, men can read this romance stuff too.

The Bromance Book Club: Book 1
This is my favorite of all The Bromance Book Club series. We have Gavin who has a famous baseball career but has a marriage with Thea that is falling apart. What I like most about this is that this is a redemption kind of romance. Where they are married and they learn to love one another once again. You don’t see a lot of romance stories written like that and that is why I loved it so much. In this book you are formally introduced to The Bromance Club with characters that you will later get to know in the other books in the series. In this next installment of the series, you meet Braden, the entrepreneurial bar owner. And Liv a chef who got fired from the restaurant and black listed from getting another job all because of sexual harassment. This book deals with sexual harassment and calling out the person who did it. While trying to expose her ex-boss, Mack uses what he knows from the romance books he reads to romance Liv to romance her. You kind of see an insta-romance form in this book. But you sometimes go into rom coms expecting it and it makes your toes curl of the romance and it is okay. BUY HERE
The next book in the series is about Noah the computer nerd and Alexis the Cafe owner for adoption of cats and a place for abused victims to come for yoga. They are best friends and Noah has a secret crush on her. He could never bring himself to tell her of him liking her and wants to be more than friends. With the help of The Bromance Club, they use their knowledge of romance novels to be able to help him get the courage to tell how much Noah likes Alexis.
Now, in my opinion, the Bromance Club wasn’t as involved as the last ones were. It is still good in my opinion and I love this book in the series. BUY HERE
Now, I would admit, this is my least favorite one of the series. This book is about Vlad and his mysterious wife Elena. The Bromance Book Club men thought she didn’t exist because she was nowhere to be seen. Vald, who is a hockey player, married Elena to help her get out of Russia and into college. Once college was up for Elena, she was now preparing to go back to Russia and dissolve the convenient marriage. Vald won’t go down without a fight. With the help of the Bromance Club of course. There is a lot of danger in this one because Elena is trying to track down her fathers murder with the risk of her getting killed as well. Why this isn’t my favorite, well Elena has a bad habit of simple misunderstandings and running away. Repeatedly. I am not a big fan of the misunderstanding trope. It is still good in its own way but the characters were slightly annoying and it was hard for me to get through this particular book in the series. BUY HERE
I would recommend picking up The Bromance Book Club Series by Lyssa Kay Adams if you would like a different type of contemporary romance.
There is a smut, love and a heck of enduring friendships that help one another in the romance department. There is another book in the series called A Very Merry Bromance (Can Pre-Order Now: Set to Publish Nov 1st, 2022) that I am looking forward to picking up hopefully soon. It is not released yet, but I will get my hands on it eventually. This time it will be about Colton the country star falling in love with Gretchen, a lawyer. Oooh I cannot wait, who doesn’t love a heartwarming Christmas read?
Country music’s golden boy Colton Wheeler felt the most perfect harmony when he was with Gretchen Winthrop. But for her, it was a love him and leave him situation. A year later, Colton is struggling to push his music forward in a new direction. If it weren’t about to be the most magical time of year and the support of the Bromance Book Club, he’d be wallowing in self-pity.
It’s hard for immigration attorney Gretchen not to feel a little Scrooge-ish about the excess of Christmas when her clients are scrambling to afford their rent. So when her estranged, wealthy family reaches out with an offer that will allow her to better serve the community, she’s unable to say no. She just needs to convince Colton to be the new face of her family’s whiskey brand. No big deal…
Colton agrees to consider Gretchen’s offer in exchange for three dates before Christmas. With the help of the Bromance Book Club, Colton throws himself into the task of proving to her there’s a spark between them. But Gretchen and Colton will both need to overcome the ghosts of Christmas past to build a future together.
